Not to be confused with Ritz Carlton group of hotels, the Ritz in Lisbon is a Four Seasons Hotel and the name “Ritz” has been passed down for decades under different management. This 5-star hotel with 282 rooms is well equipped to handle conferences and large functions. It has 2 main ballrooms and a fair number of smaller meeting rooms for breakout sessions.

The Pedro Leitão Ballroom has high ceiling and two-level seatings for up to 288 guests in classroom-style seating. Its high ceiling with chandeliers brings back the grand, rolling-twenties ballroom feeling and is definitely an excellent venue for gala dinners. Guests may enter from the hotel lobby which leads to the upper level of the ballroom, or from a private entrance with a grand spiral staircase leading up the the ballroom pre-function area.

The hotel’s 14 other function rooms cater to meeting sizes of between 20 to 144 guests in classroom-style seating. These are spread over the hotel’s lobby level, lower lobby and mezzanine levels. Apart from these, a variety of lounges, restaurants and outdoor garden space are excellent for standing cocktail reception of up to 1,000 guests.

The hotel has the luxury of space and this is reflected in the hotel guestrooms and corridors as well. All the bathrooms retains the original marble and fixtures in well maintained condition. In terms of recreation, there is a large spa and pool, as well as a rooftop fitness centre that comes complete with a 400m jogging track.
