The road leading to this resort hotel in Pokhara is badly maintained and rocky in certain sections. One almost cannot imagine seeing such a large resort hotel at the end of the road. The Fulbari Resort is perched on top of the cliff of a grand canyon. The view from the hotel from different angles can be quite spectacular. Look towards the horizon is the mountain range, stare down the steep cliff are plots of farm land and river, view across are the great canyon landscape.
The Hotel has lots of outdoor space like the pool area, gardens and golf course for team-building activities. Outdoor cafe and restaurants such the Hanging Garden are great for BBQ and theme parties with breathtaking views.
However, for a 165-room hotel with such a large compound, its meeting facilities are strangely inadequate. The Sayapatri Room, the only space dedicated to meeting purpose, can accommodate only 48 guests in classroom style. It is located on the fourthlevel and look more like an afterthought rather than purpose-built. There is not much other suitable venues, except for the Video Room located next to the shopping arcade, and the Rainbow Lounge, which may be converted for meetings. Neither of them can sit more than 40 guests classroom style. There are also two casino halls that apparently can be turned into function space if required. However, the ceiling height is rather low and will not be suitable for setting up large stage or screen.
Although it is quite a unique resort with spectacular scenic views, Hotel Fibrari is a little difficult to access and meeting facilities somewhat lacking.
