The Westin group of hotels is well-known for their conference facilities and expertise, and the Westin Zagreb did not disappoint. It has one of the largest ballroom in the city, accompanied by 11 function rooms to cater to different group sizes and needs.

The Crystal Ballroom can accommodate up to about 450 people in classroom-style seating, or up to 800 people theatre-style. The ceiling height of about 5.5m is fairly reasonable, allowing good view of presentation projection without blockage, as well as grand stage set-up. The ballroom can be partitioned into two smaller rooms if required. The pre-function area outside the ballroom is suitable for setting up tea breaks and even desktop exhibition.

The Panorama room on the 17th floor provides a panoramic view of the city of Zagreb, as the name suggests. As such, the room also has good natural lighting. In classroom setting it can take up to 100 people, but its low ceiling will restrict projection screen size and stage height. Similarly, the Opera room on the same floor also has a spectacular view, but with a smaller seating capacity. These function rooms are excellent venues for evening cocktails or dinner functions. The rest of the function rooms supports smaller seminars or breakout sessions of between 12 to 70 people.

This property was built in 1974 and operated under different managements until The Westin took over in 2005. While the architecture and interior design look somewhat dated, The Westin Zegrab is nevertheless the best convention hotel in the city, and it can always rely on its sister Starwood hotel, the Sheraton Zagreb, should delegate accommodation exceeds its inventory of 349 rooms.
