The Mimara Museum houses the art collection donated by local collectors Ante and Wiltrud Topic Mimara. The neo-Renaisance Palace in which the Mimara Museum is located offer many possibilities for MICE events.
Organizers may welcome event delegates in a grand way from the front lawn, extending into the lobby area. In fact, the lobby area is large enough to arrange theatre seating and stage for presentation or opening ceremony purposes.
After a grand welcome, delegates can then proceed onto the second level exhibition hall, which can be transformed into a conference room for up to 200 people classroom-style. The wonderful thing about old buildings is that they have very high ceilings, thus giving events a grand feel. This being an art exhibition hall, there is no fixed furniture and thus giving organizers a freehand in arranging the seating layout. It is also suitable for use as venues for social and cultural functions, such as cocktail reception, classical music concert or ballroom dancing theme parties. Being among valuable paintings, delegates will definitely feel the sense of history and culture in this city.
The Multimedia Room caters to groups of about 70 people and is equipped with modern AV and IT facilities. For tea breaks and refreshments, the cafe that opens out to a garden courtyard with alfresco dining is the most appropriate location.
