Located in the highlands of Chiang Rai at about 1,200m above sea level is the vast estate of Choui Fong Tea Plantation, covering approximately 395 acres in the Mae Chan district.
Apart from enjoying the scenery of the plantations, incentive groups can arrange hands-on tea leaf picking experience, and photo-opportunity with ethnic minority in their full traditional dress.
The visitor centre of the plantation is housed in an award-winning, environmentally-friendly building that comprises a tea-tasting and educational corner, a souvenir shop and several rest and dining spaces. MICE groups can organize light lunch or tea reception on the open rooftops or sheltered terraces. There are 3 rooftop spaces and a sheltered dining area, each accommodating about 30-50 guests in standing cocktail style.
It is best to visit or organize reception here during the cool season of December to March, as it would be a little too hot to enjoy rooftop reception otherwise.
