Constructed by command of King Alfonso XIII of Spain in 1928 to house VIP guests at the Iber-American Exposition 1929, the hotel has been the place to stay for royalty, heads of state and those keen to share in its aura of history and glamour.
The hotel has a total of 7 function rooms to fit MICE groups of 12 to 220 in classroom-style seating arrangement. The main ballrooms “Real” and “Hispalis” exude classical grandeur and are definitely suitable for conferences as well as gala dinners. There are also several outdoor spaces, such as the Patio courtyard and swimming pool gardens, for cocktail receptions. The Patio is especially popular for wedding reception.
For the guestrooms, the hotel retained much of the old-world charm, preserving much of the original tiles and fixtures but without compromising on modern comfort and technology. Different wings of the hotel also feature guestrooms with different interior designs, highlighting the diverse cultural influences throughout Spain’s history.
After a long day’s conference and activities, MICE delegates may chill-out at the hotel’s Art-deco style Bar Americano in the evening, or check out other restaurants and lounge in the hotel.
Located near the heart of Seville’s historic city centre, Hotel Alfonso XIII is a great venue for mid-sized conference or incentive groups. Click here to view photo gallery.
