The Vilnius Grand Resort has a sprawling compound that includes a golf course, a lake and other outdoor facilities. The view from the rooms and the restaurants is magnificent, overlooking lush greenery of the forest, golf course and the glittering lake. In summer, the lake would be busy with water sports such as canoeing, water-skiing and wake boarding. In winter, the frozen lake would be great for ice skating or even ‘test-driving’ cars on ice. With all these possibilities, MICE groups will find this venue excellent for team-building and post-conference social activities.

The resort hotel has 8,000 sqm of function space including ballrooms and smaller meeting rooms to suit various group sizes. There are wide corridors and pre-function areas to accommodate tea breaks, cocktails and small table-top exhibitions.

The interior decor of this 185-room resort hotel does look like it is in need of some updating, though. The furniture in the rooms look somewhat dated while carpet colours seem uncoordinated throughout the corridors on different levels.

Nevertheless, being just 20 minutes away from the city centre, the Vilnius Grand Resort is rather ideal as a ‘getaway’ event venue.
