Quinta da Pacheca does not command the best view of the Douro Valley, and it does not have the famous stepped plantation. However, the vineyard is well equipped with hotel accommodation, different venues for cocktail reception, lunch or dinner, as well as educational and team-building facilities for MICE groups.

The Wine House Hotel has 9 double and 6 twin rooms. Although housed in a typical 18th Century building, the hotel’s exterior and interior use mainly pure white colour, and its décor is simple, modern chic adorned with some traditional furniture. There is feeling of home comfort in this place.

For meetings or banquet, it has 4 main function rooms that are able to accommodate from 45 to 300 guests in classroom or banquet-style seating arrangements. Each function room has its unique theme, such as the Vintage Room where guests would be surrounded by large wine barrels, or the Multi-purpose Room with a panoramic view of the vast plantation.

The hotel is able to organize wine-themed team-building activities where MICE delegates may try their hands and feet in making wine.
