Torreão Nascente is a venue located on the Terreiro do Paco Square. The Square had, for a long period of time, been unglamorously used as large open carpark in Lisbon. Thankfully, the Square has been restored to similar grandeur as the San Marco in Venice since 2010. Surrounding the Square are cafes, shops and restaurants including one of the oldest cafe in Lisbon, and the Lisbon Story museum – a sight, sound and smell experience to learn about the history of the city, etc.
Torreão Nascente was launched as a function venue in 2012. As it is, the venue interior looks raw and has many columns sustaining its curved ceiling. While this may not work so well for conferences, it allows great flexibility for customised decorations with creative use of props. Special lightings can also create wonderful effects on the columns and beautiful curved ceiling. The venue opens out to the Square on one side, and the promenade facing the Tagus River on the other. Torreão Nascente, with an area of 430 sq metres, is perfect for cocktail reception, gala dinner, exhibition or product launch for up to 300 guests. For more information, visit: www.visitlisboa.com
