Exhibition organizers, who have been used to spanking new expo and convention centres that have been springing up in Asia cities in recent years, may find the Exponor, located in Matosinhos, somewhat dated. Nevertheless, Exponor is still the largest indoor exhibition area in the north of Portugal. Apart from a total of 6 halls total 45,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, the venue also consists of purpose-built convention auditorium and other smaller meeting rooms, as well as 140,000 square metres of outdoor event space and car park. This is one of the venues to go to for large association conventions, incentive groups and exhibitions.
