Another neighbouring hotel to both Sofitel and Le Meridien is the Tara Angkor Hotel. Although not technically a MICE hotel or an international brand name, MICEreview finds it worth a mention. This smaller boutique hotel has a modern-ethnic design that runs throughout the hotel. It is well equip with a gym, pool, free Internet stations and WIFI at the lobby. There is also a small function room for up to 30 persons classroom-styled seating. Although there is a plan to convert a space in an adjacent building into a meeting room, MICEreview thinks that the low ceiling height and multiple structural columns may limit its use. Nevertheless, Tara Angkor can serve as a comfortable supporting hotel for large events held at neighbouring hotels.
